The Organizing Committee cordially invites you to participate in the 13th Latin American Conference on Physical Organic Chemistry (CLAFQO-13), to be held in Villa Carlos Paz, Córdoba, Argentina, from May 17 to 21, 2015 (website: www.clafqo-13.congresos.unc.edu.ar). CLAFQO-13 is the single most important Latin-American Conference for chemists active in physical organic chemistry and reactivity. The scientific program will consist of plenary and invited lectures, oral presentations and poster sessions. We are also planning to publish papers from CLAFQO-13 in a special issue of The Journal of Physical Organic Chemistry. We anticipate a highly stimulating conference in Villa Carlos Paz attended by scientists from both Hemispheres.
The Conferences provide an excellent opportunity to present the important advances that have occurred in the area of physical organic chemistry, exchange ideas in both, formal and informal ways, and renew personal contacts with friends and colleagues not only from Latin America, but from all over the world.
The present Conference will focus on the latest important advances in the field, and will offer further opportunities of the sort of the high level discussions we have enjoyed over the thirty two years since the First Conference in 1982.
Villa Carlos Paz is a city located in the center-north of the province of Córdoba, Argentina, in the Punilla Valley, lying on the western slope of the Sierras Chicas and on the southern shore of the San Roque Lake. Carlos Paz is a major tourist destination on the national level, favoured by its closeness to the populous Córdoba City (36 km), the capital of the province.
The following scientists have anticipated their participation as plenary or invited lecturers:
